Viriya Community Services is a charitable organisation founded in 2001 by the Leong Hwa Monastery to provide community and social services to low-income families in Singapore regardless of race and religion.

Our outreach has grown over the years as we strive to better meet the needs of all members of the society.

Every year, we aim to raise S$600,000 to support and sustain our centres and projects.

We are a full member of the National Council of Social Service and an Institution of Public Character (IPC). We issue tax-exempt receipts for  all outright cash donations of S$50.00 and above, and for donations made from 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2015, the tax deduction will be increased from 2.5 times to 3 times.

In addition, to celebrate Singapore’s 50th birthday, the Government is matching dollar for dollar for all donations received by us up to 31 March 2016. This matching grant will help us invest  in building capability and capacity as well as in new or enhanced existing programmes to meet the future needs of Singaporeans.

We hope that the Government’s initiative will inspire Singaporeans to contribute to worthy causes and together, we will be better prepared tomorrow.
